Going for a dive

With comfortable water temperatures from 18 degree Celsius in the winter and high of 24 degree Celsius in the summer makes St Helena an all the year around dive destination.

Our diving consists of a combination of wrecks, caverns, ledges, swim through and large rocky boulders with an average visibility of 15 - 25 meters (dependent on season).

Even if you are an open water diver (or equivalent) you will still be able to dive 80% of St Helena’s popular dive sites which has an average depth between 10 - 18 meters.

We offer a few wrecks and artificial reefs where you are able to dive to 30 meters with an advance diver (or equivalent) certification.

Safety is paramount to us and oxygen and a first aid kit is available on all of our dive boats.

Majority of our diving on St Helena is via boat and Into The Blue provides a range of boats to ensure each individual diver has comfort on an excursion. My dive boats range from 5.5 meter rib, 7.2 meter rib and a 8 meter open deck hard boat.

What do you need?

Just yourself, your bathing suit and your dive certification!

We can provide you with a full kit hire for each dive. This includes - tank, regulator, BCD, weight belt, wet suit, mask, snorkel and fins.

Dive Sites

The majority of our diving is carried out on the leeward side of the Island. This side of the Island is protected from the south-east trade winds by our sheer cliffs making our dive sites calm with easy entries. Click here for information on various dive sites, histories and what you may see.
