The PADI Open Water Dive course
The PADI Open Water Dive course has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle. If you want to learn how to dive and discover new adventures, or simply want to see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.
Dive Saint Helena offers the diver the ultimate diving experience with this course, using the outdoor swimming poll adjacent to the wharf to develop your diving skills and then carrying out the Open Water dives in and around the sheltered Jamestown Bay. Including the chance to explore the spectacular wreck of the Papanui on one of your qualifying dives.
What will you learn.
The theory section of the course teaches you the principles of scuba diving. Dive Saint Helena also offers you the opportunity to complete your Open Water theory section through the on-line PADI e-Learning programme – potentially before you come to St Helena. Contact us for more details.
The course fees cover all PADI classroom materials, including the Open Water Manual & Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), logbook, PADI Certification and all the scuba equipment you need for the pool and open water dives.
The PADI Open Water course gives you international certification that will allow you to dive up to 18m deep with other certified divers around the world – your future holidays will never be the same again!
